Annapolis Blues FC is proud to announce that Jim Gabarra has accepted the position of President of Annapolis Blues FC, effective immediately.

In his first season with the organization, Gabarra made an immediate and historic impact, guiding the Annapolis Blues Women’s Team to an undefeated regular season and earning USL W Executive of the Year honors in his inaugural year with the club. His leadership on and off the field has set a championship standard and solidified the Blues’ position as a premier organization within the league.

As President, Gabarra will provide strategic leadership and oversight across all areas of the club, including competitive operations, business development, community engagement, and long-term organizational growth. While continuing in his role as Women’s General Manager, he will remain closely involved in player development, team operations, and the ongoing success of the women’s program, in addition to driving the overall vision of the club.

“I’m incredibly excited about this new role and about the future of the Annapolis Blues. It’s an honor to help shape the club’s vision, growth, and long-term development. While I continue my work with the women’s program, I look forward to providing strategic leadership across all areas of the organization—on the competitive side, in business development, and within our community. The Blues have a bright future, and I’m proud to be part of building it.”

"Annapolis Blues take pride in having great leaders who share the club's commitment to our community and vision for growing the game in Annapolis. We're very fortunate that Jim Gabarra, a US soccer legend and American soccer pioneer, calls Annapolis home.  Thanks to Jim's leadership, experience and expertise, the Annapolis Blues women's team had a very successful inaugural season. In Jim's expanded role, we're excited to see the club continue to grow and evolve during the biggest year in American soccer history. It's an exciting time to be a soccer fan in Annapolis! Congrats to Jim, onward and upward!!" say’s Michael Hitchcock

The Annapolis Blues organization looks forward to the continued leadership, vision, and proven success that Gabarra will bring as President and Women’s General Manager.
